Welcome to Groningen
Great to have you in the city. Whether you’re a first timer or returning, a student, employee or inhabitant: welcome! We know you’ll feel at home soon. Groningen has so much to offer. Space to live, study, work and to be yourself. To discover and develop your talents and to bring out the best in you. We invite you to make Groningen your home.
Are you back in the city after a long time? Great. We were looking forward to welcome you again. Here you are! Filled with positive energy, full of dreams and ambitions. We hope you’re doing great and we’re happy to see you again.
Tackle, adapt and go on
The past one and a half year have been challenging to say the least. Empty streets without students and Stadjers*, closed restaurants and shops: it doesn’t suit our city. But, Groningen wouldn’t be Groningen if we wouldn’t repack ourselves. We don’t just get discouraged. Kop d’r veur, as we say. Just go on. Tackle, adapt and go on. This also applies to the upcoming school-, study- and workyear. Together we’ll make this year a great success.
