In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), Marketing Groningen has the obligation to provide information about the personal data that is collected via this website.

  • Customer number, order number, quotation number, invoice number (sole proprietorships,)


How do we get your personal data?

We have obtained the above personal data from you via forms via our website for eg bookings, registrations, telephone contact, contact via email, check newsletter or via social media.


3. Purposes

For these reasons, we process personal data.

We only process your personal data when we are allowed to do so according to the AVG and for the purposes described below.


Contact

If you have contacted us by telephone, e-mail, contact form or via social media, we have received your data. We process these to respond to your message to us. We keep the data until after the purpose for which you contacted us.


Newsletter

Marketing Groningen offers you the opportunity to register for the newsletter. This gives you permission to store the provided data. In this way Marketing Groningen can keep you informed of activities, news and / or developments. Marketing Groningen offers at all times the possibility to unsubscribe from this newsletter, through a link in every newsletter we send.

If a newsletter is sent, statistics are collected based on the e-mail address. By keeping our statistics on e-mail address, we ensure that the content of the newsletter matches the interests of subscribers.

We keep your data for this purpose until you have unsubscribed.


Agreement

For the fulfillment of an agreement such as bookings for group packages, overnight stays, city walks, webshop orders, participant agreement, (last minute) ticketshop, and / or businessdesk orders we need your data to be able to execute the agreement. This information will be retained until performance of the agreement and as long as the limitation period has not been vested. These data are also anonymised after 12 months by default. It is possible that data are passed on in certain agreements to third parties in order to be able to comply with what has been agreed. Marketing Groningen has concluded a processor agreement with these third parties.

In the above cases, we have a legitimate interest in processing the personal data. We will not process more data than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which the data is required and to guarantee the legitimate interest.

Forms

At various parts of our websites are forms where you are asked for personal data.

The data of forms is only sent by e-mail to the department for which the data are relevant. Only people who are currently working in that position have access to these accounts. There is only a select number of employees that can use all form submissions for management purposes. All Marketing Groningen employees use 2-step verification to log in.

The data is only used for follow-up of a contact request. In addition to the data you enter yourself, the time, the IP address and the relevant page are stored to give more context to the form submission and in this way to be able to more fully meet questions.


Statistics

To collect statistics, we use the anonymized version of Google Analytics. These statistics do not contain any personal or demographic data. Marketing Groningen has signed a processing agreement with Google for the processing of data. The option to share data with other services (including Google's services) is disabled. Transport of this information always happens over a secure connection. The storage of this data is in the hands of Google and is done in the EU or US under US jurisdiction. This storage is generally valid indefinitely.
